Artomatic and Inhibiting Freedom

Good times last week. Good times indeed. Thanks to Jeff Perigo for having us at Perigopalooza on Friday. Wonderful little fest there. And then Saturday Paw Paw was the site of much fun and frisbee golf. Sunday as well. Monday was off to Pittsburgh for the Pirates-Cubs game. Cubs win! And Tuesday night in Pittsburgh was a fun show. Thanks to all those out in Bocktown.
Thursday finds us performing as part of the Songwriters Association on Washington at Artomatic. We perform at 630pm. And then we wish everyone a safe celebration of the 4th of July. Don't let any of the those silly cops inhibit any of your freedoms to do whatever the heck you want.

Michael Jackson- 1958-2009

Michael Jackson died today at the age of 50. There is no denying the importance and hugeness of MJ in the world of music. There are only a few names you can say that are above everyone and everything in the music business, and Michael Jackson is one of them. He has the greatest selling record of ALL TIME in Thriller. He sold more than 750 MILLION records in his lifetime. He invented dance moves that are still revered today. He wrote Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, Bad, The Girl Is Mine, Beat It and Man In The Mirror. He co-wrote We Are The World. And of course, he was bat sh*t crazy. He was without a doubt one of the best and most talented entertainers of the entire 20th century. His music, and not his eccentricities, will most likely be listened to forever.

Summer is finally here! We have big plans for the summer for all you dedicated fans out there.
I've said it before, and I'm gonna say it again...The Hartford Project is nearing a close. The wheels are again in motion and it should be in your hands sometime this summer. John Hartford is one of our most favorite songwriters and we felt compelled to record some of his songs in our unique acoustic destructory style. I will keep you updated.
We are flirting with ideas more more merch designs this summer. T-Shirts and stickers mostly. If anyone has any great ideas for images, send 'em our way. We'd appreciate the input.
